The Congregation Council is pleased to present these governing documents. We are baptized members of the Church of Christ, responding in faith to the call of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel. We desire to unite together to preach the Word, administer the sacraments, and carry out God's mission. Therefore, we have adopted documents, including a constitution and bylaws. We solemnly pledge ourselves to be governed by their provisions. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The following documents are available for review: The Articles of Incorporation have been filed with the Commonwealth of Virginia following congregational approval. The Constitution has been recently updated in 3 ways: to include incorporation, to make us current with the ELCA and to clarify committee structure relevant to the new Team Ministry model. The Bylaws are changing to reflect the ministry team structure. Some new team descriptions have been added and other items clarified. If you have any questions, the church office can help you to find your answers. |

Stewardship is our response to God's love and redemption. Through grace God makes us part of His family and his world. God calls us to be worthy caretakers of all that He has given us. To facilitate our stewardship, God gives each of us spiritual gifts. We encourage everyone to discover which spiritual gifts that God has given you by using the Spiritual Gifts assessment tool found at the ELCA links below.
